About Me
Meet Karen Wynne Mackay – "Intuitive abstract paintings inspired by nature, music, and the stories hidden in everyday moments."

Meet Karen Wynne Mackay…
My paintings are inspired by the places I wander, the music I listen to, the stories I read, and the quiet moments found in nature. Working intuitively, I build each painting through layers of colour, texture, and expressive mark making, allowing unexpected discoveries to shape the final piece.
Every painting has its own story—sometimes inspired by a landscape, a memory, a conversation, or simply the way light falls across a room. My hope is that my work invites you to pause, explore, and discover a story of your own.
